Responsibilites:
- Partial independent work on the development of backup solutions and projects
- Implementation and maintenance projects
- Support the sales department in analyzing customer needs, meetings with customers and selecting solutions
- Mastery of the portfolio of several backup and storage solution manufacturers
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
Desired skills & experience:
- Basic knowledge of backup area
- Knowledge of backup software solutions (e.g. Commvault, Avamar, Veeam, TSM)
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating system administration
- Basic knowledge of virtualization and containerization
- Basic knowledge of database engines (e.g. MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DB2)
- Knowledge of storage area (disk arrays, tape libraries, SAN, file sharing protocols)
- Willingness to develop and learn
- Knowledge of English at the level of reading technical documentation and communicating with the support department of a given manufacturer
- Driving license category B and readiness for business trips
