The Key Responsibilites:
- Lead a team of 4-5 developers in the development of an advanced data collection platform (working with Clojure)
- Address and solve complex technical challenges at scale.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver value-driven solutions.
- Drive process optimization and improve system performance and scalability.
- Participate in on-call cycles (production alerts and escalations from customer support).
Desired skills & experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Java, Scala or Clojure development (experience in Clojure is not mandatory, Java or Scala engineers eager to learn Clojure are welcome to apply).
- Strong proficiency in a full tech stack, including: Java, Clojure (willingness to learn), Kafka, SQS, Postgres, S3, Cloud services (AWS preferred).
- Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
- Proactive leader with a strong can-do attitude.
- Effective mentor with strong team-building skills.
- Adaptable to fast-paced environments with a focus on delivering results.
- Excellent English communication skills.
