Tasks:
- Designing, implementing and deploying software products
- Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications
- Integrating software services and third-party services
- Troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading existing software
- Working as a part of a team with other engineers to build and deliver features
- Participating in code reviews, identifying and applying best practices for software development
- Creating technical documentation for reference
- Preparing accurate implementation task lists/time estimates and delivering assignments based on requirements
- Contributing to the security of systems
- Contributing to recruitment activities
- Producing and promoting clean code
- Mentoring other junior engineers
- Acting as a technical representative with external stakeholders on behalf of the team
- Recommending and implementing new technologies, processes, and systems to increase productivity
- Working with the leadership team to define the platform roadmap
Desired skills & experience:
- Experience as a Software Engineer including Ruby and Rails technology stack
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, and a delivery process based on pull-requests
- Experience with test-driven software design
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment processes
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies
- Good English communication skills (B2+)
