Responsibilites:

  • Database administration & monitoring
  • Database backup & recovery
  • 1st and 2nd line customer support incl. 24/7 or 12/7 on call duty
  • Incident Management involving receiving, analysis, monitoring and follow-up of error situations for Powel's applications for energy production and trade & logistics
  • Testing of our solutions
  • Ensure that we meet our customers" SLAs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identifying customer needs

Desired skills & experience:

  • 4-5 years experience in oracle database administration and monitoring related to business critical applications (Oracle DBA certified)
  • Oracle database backup and data recovery
  • High-availability solutions for databases (Data Guard, Marathon or similar)
  • Specification of hardware infrastructure for business critical applications and databases
  • Customer oriented
  • Quality focused and structured
  • Persistent and solution oriented
  • Proactive
  • Curious and willing to learn
  • Passionate about the job
  • Good English skills are required
