The Key Responsibilites:
- Providing clear leadership and direction to all aspects of Software Testing and Release
- Work with the Engineering Managers in the management and execution of projects against commitments and report progress
- Collaborate with teams across the company to identify and implement process improvements and lead the management of the Software Quality Assurance process
- Play a leading role in recruitment activities to ensure team consistency and efficiency
- Act as the Subject Matter expert on all Software Testing
- Ensure policies and procedures for Software Testing are in place
- Improving both the efficiency and the effectiveness of the function
- Putting in place robust software testing environment and practices
- Growing the talent and skillset of your team members
- Evaluate your team's performance
- Work with internal stakeholders
- Cooperate with our partners and suppliers
Desired skills & experience:
- Higher education in computer science or related discipline or equivalent experience
- Proven leadership and team building experience
- Minimum 6 years in software tests
- ISTQB qualifications in Software Testing, preferably to Test Manager Practitioner level, or equivalent qualifications or experience
- Experienced with Jira
- Extensive experience of all stages of testing, including system, system integration, performance and security testing
- Experience of functional and non-functional test analysis
- Thorough knowledge and proven experience in deploying testing tools
- Knowledge in Software engineering area, process development and quality
- Able to plan and manage own workload as well as team members workload to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, organizational awareness, risk & regulatory compliance, change management, communication and collaborative working skills

- Extensive domain knowledge in networking
- Extensive experience of managing testing within a complex organization
- Previous experience working with embedded systems
- Experience facing customers
- Good understanding of software development practices like Agile and TDD
- Knowledge of python will be an asset
- Management experience of internal development teams, external development teams and remote based development teams
- Experience with CMMI or equivalent will be an asset
