Job description:
- Help build, maintain, and improve our self-service Kubernetes based infrastructure platform used across the company, having a service-oriented mentality.
- Automate everything that can reasonably be automated, including CI/CD of all infrastructure systems and services.
- Be a liaison to internal customers, making sure they have the infrastructure resources and knowledge to run their applications effectively.
- Your expertise will be called on to improve the product, suggest best practices for users, and drive the public conversation around modern infrastructure.
- Perform some SRE work to help improve our applications with a Systems perspective.
Desired skills & experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Linux-based Infrastructure Engineering (SE, SA, SRE or similar roles)
- 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes based container infrastructure.
- 3+ years of experience running infrastructure on cloud service providers (Azure)
- 5+ years of experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools (Bamboo, TeamCity, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience using configuration management and orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible, Saltstack, etc.)
- Comfortable with at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java or alike.).
- Proficient with shell commands and shell scripting.
- Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions.
- Good knowledge and experience with SDLC methodologies. Agile software development methodologies such as SCRUM and supporting multiple development teams.
