Tasks:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and reliability.
- Manage and maintain both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, leveraging your expertise in both environments.
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to guarantee the availability, performance, and security of our systems.
- Utilize your Solutions Architect and DevOps Architect experience to drive best practices in designing and optimizing system architecture.
- Implement containerization and orchestration solutions, such as Docker and Kubernetes, to enhance system scalability and manageability.
- Proactively monitor and troubleshoot system and application issues, maintaining high availability.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Establish and enforce DevOps best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Lead initiatives to enhance security, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies.
Job requirements:
- Proven experience as a DevOps professional, with significant experience in Solutions Architecture and DevOps Architecture roles in on-premises and cloud environments
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, Ruby) for automation
- Hands-on experience with both on-premises and cloud platforms - Azure (AWS, GCP nice to have)
- In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
