Job description:
- Maintenance and development of Linux (mainly) and Windows server environments - configuration, monitoring, updates, troubleshooting.
- Administration of database environments (e.g. PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Apache Doris, MySQL/MariaDB) - installation, configuration, performance optimization.
- Design and maintenance of data warehouses (Data Warehouse) - loading, transformation, and integration processes of data from various sources.
- Maintenance and development of real-time data processing systems (Apache Flink, Kafka, CDC, Zookeeper).
- Participation in IoT projects - creating and developing data collection systems from devices (MQTT, Modbus).
- Collaboration with BI and development teams in designing data structures, SQL queries, and reports.
- Creation and updating of technical documentation (pre- and post-implementation).
Job requirements:
- Very good knowledge of Linux systems (RHEL/Debian and derivatives) - installation, configuration, hardening, administration, security.
- Basic, practical knowledge of Windows Server administration.
- Experience with virtualization (e.g. Proxmox, VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
- Very good knowledge of SQL.
- Practical knowledge of databases: PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Apache Doris, MySQL/MariaDB.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, firewall).
- Experience in automation and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Communicative knowledge of the English language (reading technical documentation, communication with external services).
- Good organizational skills and ability to solve problems independently or as part of a team.
- Category B driving license.
