Responsibilites:
- Review security policy, standards and prepare implementation guide for OS hardening
- Ensure implementation guide address the needs of compliance (e.g. server compliance to security hardening, monitoring configuration changes and auditing).
- Advise and support operation teams and security managers to implement hardening guidelines
- Customize hardening guidelines based on specific requirements
- Ensure proper configuration and operations of hardening policies compliance monitoring platform
- Monitor level of compliance by reviewing reports and support IT Security organization in acting
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in IT Security area
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Operating System (Windows 2016 +) or UNIX/Linux (SLES, RedHat, Ubuntu) - preferably both
- Experience with Infrastructure Security Hardening (with focus on Operating Systems)
- Sound knowledge of hardening benchmarks (CIS, NIST) as well as vendor recommendations and guides
- Have an analytical, results-driven, problem solving, and solution-oriented approach
- Critical thinking skills which allow to recognize potential threats, recommend improvements to the controls, and respond accordingly
- Ability to present to executive management incident debriefs and root cause analysis reports
- Ability to understand, explain and use common approaches to risk assessment and management
- Must have worked in large enterprise class type environments, be in line with industry good practices and be able to make recommendations to improve overall governance and support continuous improvement
- Ability to translate standards and policy into pragmatic activity
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent combination education / experience
