You'll be running tests for Spotlyt, companies the application written in JavaScript. It can handle complex queries on billions of rows of data, delivering results in milliseconds visualized on charts and maps. They"re delivering unique solutions to diverse clients from an array of sectors. For example, a global telecoms company that uses Spotlyt to allow them to discover previously inaccessible insights through their intuitive dashboard that converts raw data into decision-ready information, and a company that tracks live traffic flow in Dubai.
- work with the web application developers, and analysts to make sure that requirements are clear for you and the team.
- design Test Cases to verify each User Story accordingly to acceptance criteria
- plan & execute manual tests, and report their results
- support team members in solving problems/defects by providing complex test run results and steps to reproduce for the defects
- plan & execute automation tests using Cypress
- improve the test scripts and automation where required
Job requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing web applications
- 2+ years of experience in writing automated tests using Cypress
- very good knowledge of Unix environment and shell commands
- good experience in writing test cases and test reports
- strong analytical, interpersonal & communication skills
- good troubleshooting skills
- experience in working in Scrum
- ability to plan your own work in order to meet delivery deadlines
- willingness/ability to adapt to new processes and ways of working
- willingness to share knowledge with others
- basic JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge
- excellent command of the English language (written and verbal)
