Key duties:
- Develop, maintain and support infrastructure for Platform - a 24x7x365 service
- Support programming team both with operational and development tasks (provisioning new application environments and tools, debugging infrastructure elements)
- Migrate existing workloads to a cloud environment
- Automate manual tasks on all infrastructure levels
- Research the best possible infrastructure solutions for new projects
- Design and implement (technical) security policy
- Working on dynamic, developmental product (development: ~80%, maintenance: ~20%)
Job requirements:
- At least 2-3 years of experience on similar post
- Deep knowledge of Linux, especially CentOS/RHEL/Fedora
- Familiarity with virtualization and/or cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services)
- Thorough understanding of IP networking stack (both IPv6 and IPv4), common application protocols (HTTP, DNS, SMTP, LDAP, Kerberos, etc.) and tunneling/VPN protocols (IPsec, OpenVPN).
- Good knowledge of at least one scripting language (bash, python, etc.)
- Understanding of web technologies (web servers, load balancers, TLS)
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
- English language (writing internal documentation, communicating with partners and team members)

Good to have:
- Experience with provisioning and configuration management tools (Ansible etc.)
- Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker or podman, Kubernetes)
- Experience with both relational and no-SQL databases (MariaDB, MongoDB)
- Understanding of continuous integration/deployment practices and tools
- Experience with decentralized source code management / version control systems
- Knowledge from identity management (centralized authentication, user directories), and security fields (firewalling, SELinux, classic UNIX permissions model and ACLs, web application security)
- Personal free software or open source projects as a showcase of your skills
- Previous working experience as Linux Administrator, DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer
- Running Linux on a personal workstation will be considered an advantage
Red Hat Linux certification will be considered an advantage
