The Key Responsibilites:
- responsibility for preparing and updating the chart of accounts and accounting policies;
- maintaining complete accounting records for Group Companies in accordance with applicable accounting and tax laws;
- supervision of the substantive and formal correctness of financial and accounting documents;
- supervision of monthly financial and accounting closing of books, as well as proper circulation of documents;
- preparation of balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and other reports in accordance with the requirements of banks, investors, and shareholders;
- preparation of annual financial statements;
- preparation of reports and cooperation with auditors in the process of auditing annual financial statements;
- timely preparation and submission of tax declarations (CIT, VAT, PIT), representing the Company before the Tax Authorities;
- preparation of reports and cooperation with external institutions (GUS, MBP, UM);
- conducting internal projects aimed at improving internal processes and procedures in the accounting department;
- valuation of long-term contracts;
- responsibility for accounting policy and implementation and compliance with accounting and tax procedures.
Job requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in full accounting;
- Higher education in finance, accounting, or economics;
- Very good knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations;
- Familiarity with Comarch Optima software;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office;
- Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, accuracy, and ability to work under time pressure;
- Experience in team management.
