Tasks:
As a Vessel Software Support Manager you will be mainly involved in working with our onboard vessel systems, which are custom-built data gathering, processing, and machine learning solutions that tie both into vessel hardware/software and into our onshore services. This work involves:
- Linux administration,
- talking to crews and customers
- working with vessel engineers (for hardware-related failures)
- managing daily priorities
- coordinating with our software developers and business teams.
Job requirements:
- proactivity
- ability to manage your own work
- willingness to improve knowledge about the system
- positive and collaborative attitude
- very good communication skills in English
- basic knowledge about industrial-grade automation protocols (like MODBUS) is very welcome
