The Key Responsibilites:
- Define technical solutions aligned with company's IT and business requirements at an architectural and design level of detail
- Communicate technical solutions to clients
- Communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Works in conjunction with IT Gov on the Demand for Benefit to determine if the demand should be fulfilled with the ServiceNow platform
- Support the Global IT Service Desk Consolidation Program Managers in region with scoping complex service engagements typically involving Orchestration, Discovery or Platform plays
- Responsible for implementing POV (Proof of Value) Solutions, which are developed by the OPS team or a ServiceNow Implementation Partner.
- Will work with existing clients on designing technical solutions that may be delivered by the ServiceNow Implementation partner
- Will work with Pre-Sales Solution Consultants/Architects on new business to understand and provide continuity for POV work into ServiceNow Professional Services
- Patch & upgrade management of the ServiceNow platform.
- SPOC for external ServiceNow partner.
- Support delivery of the Schenker release roadmap as per the agreed dates.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the ServiceNow platform
- Maintain current knowledge via internal webinars, case study, training, Wiki and all other resources available. Drives Knowledge transfer or build up for the Ops team.
- Perform research into technology partner or other vendor solutions in context of client requirements for integration
- Follows up on outstanding development needs and provides timely status reports to the project manager
- Will work closely with company's IT Security and Data Protection Officers to ensure, that the ServiceNow Implementation is in line with IT Security and Data Protection requirements
Job requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in ITSM implementation
- 2+ years successful ServiceNow Implementations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or another related field or higher (preferred)
- Ability to both configure and demonstrate solutions in the ServiceNow platform
- Experience designing and implementing client facing solutions leveraging involving enterprise software
- Experience implementing and integrating enterprise software applications
- Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator
- Certified ServiceNow Implementation
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
- Fluent in English language skills (verbal & written)
- Strong understanding and openness for different cultures
- Some travel required
- Optional: Experience in ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript or Jelly including: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, etc.
- Optional: Certified Implementation Specialist
