Tasks:

Demonstrate leadership by driving automation efforts and sharing knowledge among other team members
Execute manual testing when needed, develop and execute automated test cases
Consciously select automation tools and libraries when needed
Maintain Tests Framework and repository
Document and analyse test results and failures, offering insights for product quality improvements
Collaborate with the development team for bug verification, validation, and adjust existing tests
Collaborate with other testers to ensure quality in integrated increments
Maintain effective communication within Automation QA team and outside it

5+ years of quality assurance experience
3+ years as a senior automation QA engineer
ISTQB Foundation certificate (other certifications are a plus)
Proficiency in Python and Pytest for automation scripting
Good sense of architecture, design patterns and good practices in terms of Pytest based test framework
Extensive experience in Selenium-based web application testing
Proficiency in Python-based API and database testing as well as ability to develop and maintain integration of tests framework with 3-rd party tools like Testrail, Jira, Grafana and others
Familiarity with SCM tools (e.g., GitHub or GitLab)
Expertise in Linux, bash scripting, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker), AWS (or other clouds)
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
Experience in integration and end-to-end testing
Ability to plan and lead automation efforts
Thorough knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools and Agile frameworks
Willingness to mentor and support less experienced team members
Strong multitasking and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
