Key duties:
- Automation of business processes
- Creating software tools to support the team's work
- Optimization of application performance
- Refactoring code
- Expanding test coverage
- Diagnosing problems, monitoring services, analyzing current application performance
- Bug fixing
- Maintaining continuity of application operation
- Handling requests from the company's operations department (no need to contact the end customer)
- Event analysis
- Cooperation in the release of new versions of the application
- Supporting the development of test, development, production environments
- Cooperation with strictly development teams (sprint teams) - transfer of knowledge, support in developing solutions, creation of documentation
Job requirements:
- PHP 7.4, 8.x
- Symfony
- SQL
- GIT (basics, ability to merge changes, resolve conflicts, rollback changes, etc.).
- Docker - ability to set up applications, basic configuration
- Linux basics - knowledge of commands to navigate the system, analyze events, secure editing
- Willingness to work on all environments including development, test and especially production environments
- Knowledge of writing unit tests (PHPUnit)
- Knowledge of English - mainly for the purpose of handling requests in text form
- Ability to combine maintenance and development tasks (proportions variable - usually (50%/50%) - with increasing automation, more emphasis on development and advanced maintenance.
