Key duties:
- Ensuring proper management of international road transport flows for key customer services
- Daily monitoring of operational activities
- Managing transport flows to ensure expected levels of quality/costs/time of delivery
- Ensuring detailed and daily monitoring together with planning of "ready to transport" volumes
- Taking necessary actions in case of decreased performance level
- Monitoring expected level of transport operations delivery
- Ensuring data consistency in IT systems regarding conducted operational activities
- Adapting and optimizing transport means
- Adapting vehicle loading plan according to needs and taking into account circumstances that may constitute a risk for delivery
- Updating tables and databases in order to ensure proper reporting of activities
- Ensuring information circulation (operational and administrative activities)
- Ensuring constant contact with European transport suppliers
- Ensuring circulation of information regarding conducted operational activities between suppliers, loading centers and other company departments
- Activating suppliers and influencing their operational activities in order to optimize them
- Conducting or participating in suppliers performance reviews
Requirements:
- Education in the field of transport management
- Professional experience in transport or planning
- Very good knowledge of Italian
- Knowledge of English
- Knowledge of MS Office (including very good knowledge of EXCEL)
- Knowledge of TMS systems
